Greetings from Sunny Florida!

TSK escaped the snowy north to bask in the sun and see the sights.

New into her vocabulary are...
armadillo (aka a-MAN-a-lo)
manatee (aka man-a- tea)

rocket (aka roc-it)
and outside (aka au-sigh)

At the Kennedy Space Center,
she got a taste of the cramped Mercury Capsule,
toured the grounds including the "vehicle assembly building",
and generally insisted on doing things herself.
While Dad was eagerly snapping pictures of the rockets, capsules, launch sites and buildings, TSK enjoyed pushing her stroller around, watching the birds feast on her lunch leftovers, and running around laughing. She did pause to admire the Saturn 5 rocket that powered the moon flights and get really good at saying rocket.

Back on the beach,
TSK explored the feeling of sand between her feet,

and practiced her yoga moves.

Florida's state parks provided TSK with lots of room to roam and sights to see.
After a snack at our cabin and

several trips down the slide,

TSK searched for manatee. (Note the 8 gray blobs on the far side of the river. Not impressed? TSK found the pictures of manatees up close more exciting than the real thing, too. Mom insisted on viewing the blobs repeatedly though.)

The warm springs provided swiming for the bold.
72 degree water is nice on a day where the air is around 80 degrees,

but TSK also bravely got her feet wet on a day when the air temps were more like 70 degrees.

The wildlife boat tour was exciting.

And overall, her parents were proud of her sense of adventure.

You all are just the cutest. EVAR.

I love TSK's look of delight at her adventures.

And hurrah for manatees and Space!
